Philip Eley is our Paignton based Schools worker and has been involved in the community there since September 2008.
Working with Schools, Churches and Community and Voluntary Sector Organisations Philip has been involved in new collaborations and projects with young people in Paignton.
Paignton Community and Sports Academy – Philip supports students by teaching lessons within RE (Religious Education) and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education).
He runs a lunch club on Tuesday lunchtimes which meets at 12:30-1p.m. on the Mezzanine floor of the Library.
Philip also leads two Christian Unions at PCSA. The lower school site CU is on Monday lunchtimes from 1-1:45p.m. in room 34 and the upper school site CU is on Wednesdays in BO2 from 1-1:45p.m. These groups provide support and encouragement to Christian students, but all students are welcome.
Tower House School - Philip Eley supports students by teaching lessons and working with small groups within the Citizenship department.
He runs clubs at break and lunchtime on Thursdays in the art room for any students who would like to come and play games and chat.
Mad Moos Milkshake bar
Philip Eley runs this after school drop in café for young people in partnership with Paignton Baptist Church on Tuesdays from 3:15-4p.m.
There are games, people to chat to and milkshakes for a small charge.
For those who are interested there is also a Bible study led by Philip that meets in the cafe venue from 4-4:30p.m.
